Private Valter Blomgren was a member of the UNSC Marine Corps and an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper. He served with Task Force Bravo during the Daego Insertions.

Biography

Daego Insertions

In early 2551, Blomgren was assigned to Task Force Bravo to search for a Forerunner weapon called Casket. They travelled to Daego, one of many possible search zones. Once on the planet, he paired with Matias Chavez and was sent to an abandoned mining rig in the middle of an ocean. After jumping out of the Pelican to the rig, they rappelled down into the mines. As it was too dark, Blomgren threw a flare. However, the explosion of the flare knocked one of the old pillars loose, and the mine collapsed. As the water filled up the destroyed mine, the force of a large wave smashed Blomgren into a large rock, killing him instantly.
